    YJ157A motor is three phase squirrel cage asynchronous traction motor, which is equipped on freight diesel locomotive in India, its maximum speed is 3320 r/min. The stator is adopted with full laminated roll axle structure and insulation class 200. The stator will be VPI after inserted windings. Rotor is squirrel cage type with brazing copper bars and end ring to form cage. The motor is forced outside ventilation. Cooling air enters from non-drive end and exits from drive end. Bearings on both ends use insulation structure. Deep groove ball bearing on non-drive end is for position. Drive end uses oil lubrication structure of cylindrical roller bearing. Rotor shaft cone and pinion mating is internal taper fit.

    The traction alternator consist of main alternator and companion alternator. Main alternator and companion alternator both are three phase salient pole rotary field type synchronous alternator. Traction rectifier is installed on the front end of alternator. Alternator has single bearing support, forced air cooling structure. Main and companion alternators, slip ring and rectifier adopts axial layout. Rectifier and slip ring were placed on the rectifier cabinet outside of end cover. Main alternator and companion alternator coaxially connect together but electrical independent with each other. Main alternator supply high voltage DC power to two inverter which convert DC into variable three phase AC to control the speed and traction effort of the three phase asynchronous traction motor. The companion alternator outputs three phase AC voltage and provide power for relative equipment of auxiliary system.

    Half Height Platform Gate are chest-height sliding doors at the edge of metro platform to prevent passengers from falling off the platform edge onto the railway tracks. These platform gates slide open or close simultaneously with the train doors for passenger entry to train as required time to time.

    The elegant appearance of platform gates are designed to enhance the station environment whilst providing a barrier to prevent access to the track.

    The threshold on the platform surface restrains and guides the doors and panels. The operating equipment is located within a sealed enclosure which is accessible via use of a staff key.

    Brake Disc Material : Alloy cast iron

    The brake disc is usually made of cast iron, but may in some cases be made of composites such as reinforced carbon–carbon or ceramic matrix composites. This is connected to the wheel and/or the axle. To retard the wheel, friction material in the form of brake pads, mounted on the brake caliper, is forced mechanically, hydraulically, pneumatically, or electromagnetically against both sides of the disc. Friction causes the disc and attached wheel to slow or stop.
